Harvia offered heat in the Sauna World Championships 2007

In Heinola, Finland was organized for the ninth time a competition that is hotter than hot, the Sauna World Championships. This year the competition attracted a record number of participants and the public as well. The event was also very international.
The competitors sat in a sauna where the temperature was about 110 ºC (230 ºF). Water was thrown on the stones of the Harvia sauna heater app. in every 30 seconds. The winner of the women’s series Leila Kulin sat in the sauna for impressive 10 min 31 s and the winner of the men’s series Timo Kaukonen 12 min 26 s.
